You've probably got all the ingredients on hand for the Danadar Sweets!
Ingredients:
5 cups of milk
¼ cup vinegar + ¼ cup water
1 tbsp ap flour
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp semolina
1 ½ cup water
1 cup of sugar
¼ tsp lemon juice
Instructions:
1. Bring milk to a boil then turn off the heat
2. Add vinegar and water mixture to the boiled milk
3. Once milk cheese has separated, filter out the cheese using a cheesecloth and rinse with cold water
4. Transfer cheese to a flat plate and add ap flour, sugar, and semolina
5. Knead for 5-6 minutes
6. Prepare small ball sizes
7. To prepare the syrup, add water and sugar in a large pan
8. Stir until sugar dissolves then squeeze lemon juice
9. Place the milk cheese balls in the syrup
10. Cook for 5 minutes on medium heat with the lid on
11. Shake pan to ensure no sticking occurs
12. Cook for 10 minutes on low-medium heat
13. Remove lid and gently shake
14. Cook for another 20 minutes on low heat until syrup thickens
15. Stir as needed to prevent sticking or burning
16. Remove from heat and coat cheese balls in sugar before serving
17. Ready to Enjoy!
