Yummy Homemade Pizza

Here are two kinds of pizza recipes - Chicken Tikka Pizza and Turkish Pizza. Meet your midnight pizza cravings by making the pizza of your dreams right at home!


Chicken Tikka Pizza


250-gm chicken thighs

½ tsp turmeric

1 tsp red chili powder

½ tsp garam masala

1 tbsp garlic ginger paste

1 tsp salt

2 tbsp plain yogurt

1 tbsp mustard oil


½ cup of warm water

1 tsp active dry yeast

1 tsp honey

1 ¼ cup ap flour

¾ tsp salt


5 tbsp plain yogurt

3/2 tsp honey

3 garlic cloves

Salt and pepper

Turkish Pizza


1 tbsp active dry yeast

200 ml of milk

1 egg

1 tsp salt

100 ml cooking oil

4 cups ap flour

¼ cup room temp. water


2 tbsp cooking oil

1 cup chopped onion

½ kg of ground meat

¾ tsp salt

2 garlic cloves

1 tsp chili flakes

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp black pepper

½ cup tomato

½ tsp roasted cumin

¼ cup fresh coriander

Instructions for Chicken Tikka Pizza:

1. Marinate the chicken in turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, garlic ginger paste, salt, plain yogurt, and mustard oil

2. Cook the chicken for 7-8 minutes

3. Prepare active yeast by mixing it with water and honey in a bowl and set aside

4. In a separate bowl, add ap flour and gradually add active yeast mixture as you gently mix

5. Cover the dough and set aside to rest for 5 minutes

6. Add salt to the dough as you knead then coat the top with oil and allow it to rest for 2 hours in a warm place

7. Prepare dipping sauce by mixing plain yogurt with honey, garlic cloves, salt, and pepper

8. Stretch the dough and flat in it out in a round shape and spread sauce

9. Place chicken, fresh coriander, mozzarella, red onion, and a drizzle of olive oil

10. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 425 ºF/ 215 ºC

11. Ready to Enjoy!

Instructions for Turkish pizza:

1. Prepare the dough by mixing active dry yeast, milk, egg, salt, cooking oil

2. Add ap flour and room temperature water

3. Set the dough aside to rest for 1 hour

4. Drizzle cooking oil in a pan, stir in chopped onion, ground meat, salt, garlic cloves, chili flakes, paprika, tomato, roasted cumin, and fresh coriander

5. Cook until any excess water has evaporated and set aside

6. But the raised dough into 8 pieces and roll out each piece into a flat oval shape

7. Place topping in the center tuck in the edges and add mozzarella cheese

8. Brush egg wash on the edges

9. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 400 ºF/ 200 ºC

10. Ready to Enjoy!
