Fish with Vegetables

Fish and Vegetables come together for a knockout flavor combination




Serving Size: 4-5


Ingredients:

Fish Preparation

1 ½ lb. Haddock Fillets

1 Tsp Lime Juice

Salt to Taste

Pepper to Taste

1 Tsp Soy Sauce

1 Egg


Vegetable

1 Cup Cabbage

¼ Cup Carrot

1 Cup Green Papaya

2 Tbsp Cooking Oil

2 Garlic Cloves

1 Tbsp Ginger

1 Medium Onion

½ Tsp Salt

¼ Cup Bell Pepper

1 Tsp Soy Sauce

1 Tsp Fish Sauce

¾ Tsp Peppercorn

½ Tsp Sugar

4-5 Pc Green Chili

½ Tsp Corn Starch

½ Cup Water



Instructions:

1. Cut the fillet into small pieces, add lime juice, salt, pepper, soy sauce, and one beaten egg

2. Mix well using your hand then let it marinate for minimum 10 minutes

3. In a bowl, put a generous amount of flour to use for coating the fish

4. Coat the fish pieces with flour and shake off any excess flour then fry in a pan with a drizzle of oil golden brown on each side

5. In a pot of water with a dash of salt, add cabbage, carrot, papaya and boil for 3-4 minutes

6. In a separate pan with oil, minced garlic, sliced ginger, sliced red onion, salt, and vegetable mix, bell pepper, soy sauce, fish sauce, peppercorn, sugar, green chili, and corn starch mixed with water

7. Stir for 2-3 minutes on medium heat then remove from the heat and pour it over the fried fish fillet pieces before serving
