Bread Pudding is an amazing dessert with an incredibly soft texture inside and a crispy top outside. Try it at home and you'll be delighted!
French bread 1 lb
Whole milk 2 cups
Cream 1 cup
Sugar 1/2 cup
Ground nutmeg 1/4 tsp
Vanilla extract 2 tsp
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Break bread into small pieces into a 4-inch square baking pan.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, cream, sugar, nutmeg, and vanilla. Beat until well mixed.
4.Pour over bread, and lightly push down with a spatula until bread is covered and soaking up the egg mixture.
5. Sprinkle with raisins.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the top springs back when lightly tapped.
