Chicken Tikka Masala

We honestly cannot get enough of this restaurant-style Tikka Masala. Give it a try and you'll see what we mean!



Ingredients:

Chicken

500-gram boneless chicken pieces

1 tsp lime juice

½ tsp salt

3 tbsp plain yogurt

½ tsp red chili

¼ tsp turmeric

½ tsp coriander

½ tsp cumin

½ tsp garam masala

½ tsp garlic paste

½ tsp ginger paste

1 tbsp mustard oil

Gravy

4 tbsp cooking oil

1 tsp cumin

1 small onion

½ tsp garlic paste

½ tsp ginger paste

2 small crushed tomato

½ tsp coriander

½ tsp red chili

¼ tsp turmeric

½ tsp cumin

½ tsp garam masala

1 tsp salt

1 cup of water

2 ½ tbsp cream

½ tsp Kasuri methi



Instructions:

1. Marinate chicken with lime juice, salt, plain yogurt, red chili, turmeric, coriander, cumin, garam masala, mustard oil, ginger, and garlic paste

2. Marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes

3. Drizzle cooking oil in a pan and cook on low-medium heat for 5 minutes on each side

4. Check internal temperature before removing from the heat

5. In a separate pan, sauté onion until soft with cooking oil, cumin seeds, and crushed tomato

6. Sauté for 5-6 minutes

7. Stir in coriander, red chili, turmeric, cumin, salt, and garam masala

8. Sauté for another 3-4 minutes

9. Pour water and the chicken pieces

10. Cook for 1-2 minutes

11. Drizzle cream and garnish with Kasuri methi before serving

12. Ready to Enjoy!
