Bhorta is our all-time-favourite! And to top them all bhortas is shutki macher bhorta ( dried fish bhorta). Nothing beats the taste of a hot & spicy shutki bhorta with steaming rice!
This bhorta recipe is made with puti shutki and red kidney beans.
Ingredients
Puti Shutki 8 pcs
Green chillies / কাঁচা মরিচ 6 pcs
Salt as needed / স্বাদ অনুযায়ী লবণ
Garlic / রসুন 2 cloves
Onions (shallots), thinly sliced / পেঁয়াজ কাটা 2 small
Red kidney beans boiled / সিদ্ধ লাল কিডনি বীন 1 cup
Coriander chopped / ধনে চপ 1/2 cup
Directions
Dry roast garlic, green chillies on a heated pan for 2 mins. Set it aside.
Similarly dry roast puti shutki for 3-5 mins. Set it aside.
Grind roasted garlic, green chilli and shutki maach on sheel pata with some salt.
Add boiled red kidney beans, in small amounts and grind well into a fine paste.
Grind onions and coriander into the mixture. Bring all ingredients together and keep mixing them in with fish and spices.
Serve with steamed hot rice! Enjoy!
