Ingredients

Whole Wheat Flour 2 cup

Salt 1/4 tsp

Water (lukewarm) 1 cup

Cooking Directions

In a bowl, mix whole wheat flour with salt and water.
Gently mix everything together, knead for 5 minutes into a soft and sticky dough.
Cover with damp towel and set aside for 10 minutes.
Place dough on lightly floured work station. Knead for 1-2 minutes to smooth round dough.
Divide into equal 12 parts, knead to form round balls and cover with damp cloth.
Flatten the balls with the palm of our hand, then using a rolling pin, roll the ball into a circle with 1/8 inches of thickness and 3 inches in diameter. Sprinkle flour if the roti is too sticky to roll. Making the perfect 'round' roti takes some practice, so keep practicing :)
Heat a heavy bottom tava, griddle or skillet on medium high temperature. Do not use any oil, cook the roti for 1 minute before turning over, then turn again after another minute.
