Ingredients:
1½ tbsp cooking oil
½ tsp cumin seeds
2 cups boiled chola (chickpeas)
½ tsp red chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
¾ tsp cumin powder
1 tsp garam masala
½ tsp black salt (bit lobon)
1 small onion, chopped
¾ cup cucumber, chopped
1 medium tomato, chopped
2 green chilies, chopped
3 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
Salt to taste
Lime juice to taste
Instructions:
Heat 1½ tbsp of cooking oil in a pan.
Once the oil is warm, add ½ tsp of cumin seeds and sauté for 20-30 seconds.
Add 2 cups of boiled chola (chickpeas) and mix well.
Add ½ tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, ¾ tsp cumin powder, and 1 tsp garam masala. Mix well.
Add ½ tsp of black salt (bit lobon) and sauté for 3-4 minutes over high heat.
Once done, transfer the mixture to a bowl and let it cool.
Add 1 small chopped onion, ¾ cup chopped cucumber, 1 medium chopped tomato, 2 chopped green chilies, and 3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves.
Season with salt and lime juice to taste. Mix well.
