Masala Egg Curry Recipe

A mouth-watering, spicy, and flavorsome Masala Egg Curry recipe that will perfectly spice up your lunch.



Ingredients:


For Marinate:

Boiled eggs 5

Salt ¼ tsp

Red chili ¼ tsp

Turmeric ¼ tsp


For Gravy:

Cooking oil 2 tbsp

Cumin ½ tsp

Dry red chili 2 pcs

Onion 1 cup, chopped

Ginger paste 1 tsp

Garlic paste 1 tsp

Red chili 1 tsp

Coriander 1 tsp

Dry fenugreek ½ tsp

Turmeric ½ tsp

Tomatoes 1 cup, chopped

Salt 1 tsp

Green chili 2-3 pcs

Water 1 cup

Garam masala ½ tsp

Roasted cumin ½ tsp




Here is the full step by step instructions:


1. Boil eggs then peel the shell

2. Gently poke the eggs using a fork before marinating

3. Marinate the boiled eggs with salt, red chili, and turmeric

4. Add the desired type of cooking oil into a non-stick frypan and fry the marinated eggs until light brown

5. Remove and set aside the fried boiled eggs and begin tempering the cumin seeds and dry red chili using the same frypan until cumin seeds have turned light golden brown

6. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent

7. Add ginger paste, garlic paste, red chili, coriander, turmeric, water then sauté for 5 minutes

8. Add tomato and sauté for another 5 minutes

9. Add salt to taste and cook for 10 more minutes with the lid on with low heat

10. Add green chili, water, garam masala, and dry fenugreek and give it a quick mix until the oil has separated from the curry

11. Add the fried boiled eggs, sprinkle roasted cumin, and give it a quick mix

12. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander and serve while hot

13. Ready to Enjoy!
