Crispy Onion Samosa

Who agrees that Crispy Onion Samosas are the best kind of evening snacks? These delectable Samosas are too easy and quick to make!



Ingredients:

Samosa Wrap

1 cup ap flour

1 cup wheat flour

½ tsp salt

¾ cup water

Filling

1 cup thin poha

1 cup onion

1 tsp red chili

1 tsp cumin

½ tsp chaat masala

1 green chili

3 tbsp fresh coriander

½ tsp salt



Instructions:

1. Prepare samosa wrap by mixing ap flour with wheat flour, salt, and water

2. Knead for 5-6 minutes

3. Rest the dough for 15 minutes

4. Prepare filling by mixing in thin poha, onion, red chili, cumin, chaat masala, green chili, fresh coriander, and salt

5. Mix the filling well and set aside

6. Cut dough into 6 pieces

7. Take one piece of dough and roll out using a rolling pin into a thin round sheet

8. Drizzle oil and ap flour on top layer it with another sheet

9. Repeat step 8 until 6 sheets are used

10. Roll out the stacked sheets

11. Transfer to a flat pan to roast for 10 seconds on each side of all sheets as you remove one by one

12. Take one roasted sheet and cut into 4 pieces to make 4 samosas per sheet

13. Coat the edges with flour paste and create a cone-like shape and add the filling

14. Seal the samosa using flour paste

15. Place samosas in deep oil on low-medium heat

16. Fry until golden brown

17. Ready to Enjoy!
