  • Cornflour (Cornstarch): 1 tbsp

  • Chicken powder or Maggi masala: 1 tsp

  • Large egg: 1

  • Cold water: 1⅔ cups

  • Garlic paste: 1 tsp

  • Ginger paste: 1 tsp

  • Cooking oil: as needed

  • Additional green onions, chopped, for garnishing

  • Your favorite condiment (e.g., ketchup, hot sauce)






Instructions:


  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cabbage, onion, carrot, green onion, green chili, and ¾ tsp salt. Mix well and set aside.

  2. In another bowl, blend together maida, rice flour, cornflour, and chicken powder or Maggi masala. Set this aside.

  3. Return to your veggie mix. Stir in a large egg until well combined. Gradually add the flour mixture to the veggies, mixing until incorporated.

  4. Pour in 1⅔ cups of cold water, blending until the batter is smooth. Add the garlic and ginger pastes, and adjust the salt to your taste.
