Tasty Evening Snack Potato Fries

The perfect crispy potato chips with a hint of flavour


2 large russet potatoes

2 tbsp rice flour

1 tbsp corn starch

½ tsp garlic powder

¾ tsp salt

¾ tsp pepper

½ tsp chaat masala

½ tsp red chili

½ tsp amchur powder


1. Boil potatoes until tender

2. Transfer potatoes into an ice bath to cool

3. Peel off the potato skin

4. Grate the boiled potatoes through a strainer

5. Mix in rice flour, garlic powder, corn starch, salt, and pepper

6. Roll out the potato dough and cut into small bite size pieces

7. Gently press down on each potato pieces with a fork to form texture

8. Deep Fry potatoes for 2 to 3 minutes until light brown in colour

9. Remove the potatoes from heat

10. Refry the chips until golden brown and crispy

11. In a small bowl, mix chaat masala, red chili powder, and amchur powder

12. Coat the potato chips with the dry spices

13. Serve with ketchup or desired dip

14. Ready to enjoy!
