Masala Toast

Masala Toast is a fun snack to make when you are tired of the traditional and conventional toast.


Masala Potato

1 tbsp cooking oil

½ tsp mustard

12 curry leaves

1 ½ tsp garlic ginger

1 green chili

¼ tsp turmeric

3 medium potatoes

½ tsp salt

3 tbsp fresh coriander

½ tsp lime juice

Mint Mayo Chutney

1 cup coriander

12-14 mint leaves

3 green chilies

1 ½ tsp ginger

2 tbsp mayonnaise

¼ tsp lime juice


2 bread slices

1 tsp butter

2 tbsp cheese

9 cucumber slices

1/8 tsp chaat masala

1 tomato slice

2 raw onion rings

1/8 tsp roasted cumin

1 boiled beet slice


1. Drizzle cooking oil in pan along with mustard oil

2. Stir in curry leaves, crushed garlic ginger, and chopped green chilies

3. Stir fry for a minute before mixing in the turmeric

4. Add crushed boiled potatoes, salt to taste, fresh coriander, and lime juice

5. Mix well and remove from heat to cool down

6. Prepare mint mayo chutney by blending coriander with mint leaves, green chilies, ginger, mayonnaise, and lime juice

7. Spread butter, mint mayo chutney, and shredded cheese on bread

8. Top it with masala potato, cucumber, chaat masala, salt to taste, tomato slice, raw onion rings, roasted cumin, and boiled beet

9. Seal with bread and spread butter on outer layer

10. Place on grill until nice and toasty.

11. Ready to enjoy!
