Bread Gulab Jamun

This has to be one of the easiest and tastiest gulab jamun Recipe


5 white bread slices

¼ cup milk + 1 tsp

¼ tsp ghee

1 ½ cups water

1 cup sugar

2 cardamom

½ cup milk

1 cup powdered milk

1 ½ tsp sugar

1 tsp ghee


1. Remove the crust from the bread

2. Cut bread into small pieces and pour milk over

3. Knead a soft dough

4. Coat with ghee then roll into small round dough shapes

5. Drop the small rolled doughs in medium hot oil for 4 minutes

6. Turn the heat to low until dough is golden brown

7. Prepare syrup by simmering sugar and cardamom in water for 5 minutes

8. Place fried dough in syrup and rest the dough for 2 hours

9. Prepare filling by pouring milk in pan on low heat, stir in powdered milk, sugar and ghee

10. Stir until consistency thickens

11. Cut the gulab jamum in half and place filling then seal before serving

12. Ready to enjoy!
