The Best Pot De Crème

We’ve already made this twice this month

Ingredients:

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup whole milk

5 egg yolk

1 tbsp sugar

190-gm dark chocolate

½ cup cream

½ tsp vanilla

2 tsp sugar

1 tbsp chocolate curls

Instructions:

1. Bring heavy cream and whole milk to a boil on low heat

2. Whisk egg yolk in a clear bowl with a pinch of salt and 1 tbsp of sugar

3. Gradually pour milk into the clear bowl as you continue to whisk the egg yolk

4. Transfer custard back to the pot and cook for 2 minutes on low heat

5. Stir continuously

6. Remove from heat and add 72% dark chocolate

7. Mix well until chocolate dissolve

8. Transfer mixture to baking glassware

9. Refrigerate for 4 hours

10. Prepare whipped cream by mixing cream, vanilla bean, and sugar

11. Top the custard with vanilla flavor whipped cream

12. Garnish with chocolate curls

13. Ready to enjoy!
