Yummy Leftover Fried Rice (Bhaat vaja ) under 15 min


We asked our head chef (amma) to try this dish, and she liked it so much that she asked us to share it here. Hope you guys will like it too.


Ingredients:

Cooking oil 1 tbsp

Sliced onion 1/4 cup

Garlic sliced 1 tbsp

Carrot 1/4 cup

Rice 1 cup

Soy sauce 1 tsp

Black pepper 1/2 tsp

Salt to taste

Broccoli 1/4 cup

Egg 1

Thai red chili or Green chili 1-2 pcs


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat a large skillet or wok to medium heat. Pour cooking oil in the bottom. Add white onion and garlic and cook until translucent

  2. Add carrot and fry until tender.

  3. Add leftover rice and saute for few minutes , then add soy sauce , salt , black pepper and Broccoli

  4. Slide everything to the side, and pour the beaten eggs onto the other side. Using a spatula, scramble the eggs. Once cooked, mix the eggs with the vegetable rice mix.

  5. Add chopped green chili or Thai red chili if desired.
