Ingredients:
3 tbsp mustard oil
600 gm boneless chicken
½ tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
½ tsp garlic paste
½ tsp ginger paste
2 bay leaves
4 cloves
4 cardamoms
2 cinnamon sticks
1 medium onion
8-9 green chilies
½ tsp coriander
½ tsp garam masala
1 medium tomato
1 tsp salt
½ tsp sugar
2 cups basmati rice
3 cups hot water
¼ tsp garam masala
1 tbsp mustard oil
Instructions:
1. Add mustard oil to a pan along with boneless chicken pieces, garlic paste, and ginger paste
2. Salt and pepper to taste
3. Fry for 5 minutes on high heat
4. Remove the chicken pieces from the heat
5. Add bay leaves, cloves, cardamoms, cinnamon sticks, and thinly sliced onions to the pan
6. Saute until light brown on high heat
7. Add green chilies, coriander, garam masala, chopped tomatoes, and soaked basmati rice
8. Salt to taste
9. Fry for 2 minutes on high heat
10. Toss back the chicken pieces with the rice
11. Pour hot water
12. Cover the pan with lid and cook for 15 minutes on low heat
13. Sprinkle garam masala and mustard oil
14. Ready to enjoy!
