Smoked Brisket Tacos

The smoked brisket tacos are a fun recipe for a Mexican night or any night for that matter.


12 lbs. brisket

1 tbsp mustard

¼ cup pepper

¼ cup salt

1 ½ tsp garlic powder

2 large tomatoes

3 garlics

3 green chilies

½ cup coriander

¼ cup white onion

½ tsp salt

½ cup broth

1 flour tortilla

2-3 tbsp cheese

1 tbsp onions

1 tbsp cabbage

1 tsp fresh coriander

1 tsp lime juice


1. Coat the brisket with mustard, pepper, salt, and garlic powder

2. Smoke the brisket over the grill for 5 hours at 255 Fahrenheit

3. Smoke tomatoes, garlic, and green chilies on a hot pan then transfer to a blender

4. Add coriander, onion, and salt to the blender

5. Wrap the brisket in foil paper with broth and cook for another 4 hours at 275 Fahrenheit until internal temperature is 210 Fahrenheit

6. Remove the brisket from heat and let it rest for 1 hour

7. Shredd the brisket

8. Heat up the tortilla on a pan

9. Sprinkle shredded cheese and place the brisket in the center and top it off with sauce

10. Add chopped onions, shredded cabbage, and fresh coriander

11. Lastly, a few drops of lime

12. Ready to enjoy!
