Here is what you'll need!
Ingredients:
For tomato paste:
Red onion 1/2 cup
Salt 1/2 tsp
Cashew 10-12 pcs
Almonds 7-8 pcs
Tomato 1 cup
Raw cumin 1 tsp
Bay leaf 1
Cloves 4
Cardamom 3
Cinnamon 1
Chicken 1 kg
Ginger paste 1 tsp
Garlic 1 tsp
Red chili 1 tsp
Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Coriander 1 tsp
Water to saute
Salt to taste
Plain yogurt 1/2 cup
Buttermilk or heavy cream 1/4 cup
garnish with green chili
Instructions:
1.Heat cooking oil in a heavy-based pan and add onion and salt. And saute until translucent.
2. Add cashew , almonds , tomatoes and sauté until the tomatoes are soft.
3. Remove from heat and blend the mixture with a blender to make a smooth paste.
4. Heat the cooking oil and add raw cumin, whole garam masala, chicken , ginger paste, garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander, salt and saute for 15 min over high heat.
stir-fry until coated with the masala.
5. Add plain yogurt , tomato paste and stir-fry to mix well.
7.Add 1/2 cup of buttermilk and cook for 20 min.
8. Remove from pan and garnished with 4-5 green chilies.
