
Ingredients for Homemade Pasta:
All-purpose Flour 1 cup 2 Eggs Olive Oil 1 tsp
Directions: On a clean surface, make a mountain out of flour then make a deep well in center. Break the eggs into the well and add olive oil. Whisk eggs very gently with a fork, gradually incorporating flour from the sides of the well. When mixture becomes too thick to mix with a fork, begin kneading with your hands. Knead dough for 8-10 minutes, until smooth. Wrap dough tightly in plastic and allow it to rest at room temperature for 30 minutes. Start with a small piece and roll out dough in square pieces using a rolling pin or pasta machine to desired thickness. Fold in layers and cut into thin strips. Use your fingers to unfurl the pasta with a little flour to keep them from sticking with each other. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta for 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Ingredients to cook Shrimp Pasta: Extra Virgin Olive Oil 4 tbsp Garlic 4 cloves chopped Shrimp 10-12 pcs Salt to taste Black pepper 1/2 tsp Marinara sauce 1 cup Basil chopped 3 tbsp Whole cream 4 tbsp Pasta
Directions: In a large skillet over medium high heat add extra virgin olive oil, garlic. Cook, stirring frequently, until fragrant, about 1 minutes. Add shrimps (deveined and cleaned) and cook, stirring occasionally. Add salt and black pepper and sauté shrimps until pink, about 2 minutes. Add marinara sauce , chopped basil and reduce heat. Add whole cream to add a little richness to the sauce, cover and let it cook for a minute. To the simmering sauce, stir in boiled pasta. Mix everything well and take it off heat. Serve immediately, garnished with basil and parmesan, as desired. Enjoy!
