Delicious flavourful mutton boti curry
Ingredients:
½ cup cooking oil
2 bay leaves
2 cinnamon sticks
2 ½ cups onion
1 kg mutton
2 tbsp garlic paste
1 ½ tbsp ginger paste
2 tsp Kashmiri red chili
¾ tsp turmeric
2 tsp salt
3 tomatoes
2 cups hot water
1 ¼ tsp garam masala
1 tbsp jaggery
3 tbsp white vinegar
1 tsp pepper
½ tsp roasted cumin
Instructions:
1. Pour half a cup of cooking oil into a large pot
2. Add bay leaves and cinnamon sticks
3. Saute for about 30 seconds
4. Add chopped onions and sauté until brown on medium-high heat
5. Add mutton and sauté for 2 minutes on low heat
6. Stir in garlic and ginger paste
7. Sauté for another 2 minutes on low heat
8. Add Kashmiri red chili, turmeric, and salt
9. Saute for 4 minutes on low heat
10. Add a splash of water if needed
11. Mix in chopped tomatoes and continue to sauté for 15 minutes on medium heat
12. Pour in hot water
13. Add garam masala, jaggery, white vinegar, and pepper
14. Cover with lid and cook for another 10 to 15 minutes on low heat
15. Uncover and finish off with roasted cumin
16. Ready to enjoy!
