Creamy Chicken Fricassee Anyone Can Cook

Flavourful tender chicken drenched in homemade gravy


9 chicken pieces

2 tbsp cooking oil

4 garlic cloves

1 large onion

320 g mushrooms

2 bay leaves

½ tsp red chili

1 ¼ tsp coriander

3 tbsp ap flour

3 cups chicken stock

½ tsp salt

2/3 cup evaporated milk

3 tbsp fresh coriander


1. Coat the chicken pieces with lime juice, salt and pepper

2. Drizzle cooking oil in a large pot and fry the chicken pieces along with garlic cloves for 3 to 4 minutes on each side

3. Remove the chicken pieces and garlic cloves from heat

4. Add sliced onion, mushrooms, bay leaves, red chili, coriander, and ap flour

5. Fry for about 1 to 2 minutes

6. Pour in unsalted chicken stock

7. Add salt to taste

8. Bring stock to a boil

9. Place chicken pieces into the pot

10. Cover with lid and cook for 15 minutes on medium heat

11. Uncover and cook until stock thickens to a gravy consistency for 25 minutes

12. Pour in evaporated milk

13. Sprinkle fresh coriander

14. Serve on top of fettuccini or desired type of pasta

15. Ready to Enjoy!
