Aloo Paratha

Ingredients for Potato Stuffing

Boiled Potato 3 medium

Onion 1 small

Green chilli 3 pcs

Salt to taste

Roasted Cumin powder 1/2 tsp

Coriander 1 tsp

Ingredients for Paratha

White flour 1 cup

Lukewarm water 100 ml

Oil 1 tsp

Salt to Taste


In a bowl, add boiled mashed potato, finely chopped onion, green chilli, roasted cumin powder, coriander and salt. Mix all ingredients and keep it aside. The potatoes must be mashed well!

In another bowl, mix flour with water, oil and salt to taste. Knead dough and cover with wet towel, let it rest for 15 minutes.

Divide dough into small balls. Flatten one dough ball and place potato stuffing in center and seal it from all sides. Sprinkle some flour and gently roll the dough ball into round disks, making sure the potato stuffing does not fall out.

Heat a tawa/pan to medium heat. Add ghee on paratha to add flavour.

Flip the paratha to cook both sides well.

Serve hot!
