Murali is a perfect evening snack to enjoy with a cup of tea
Ingredients:
½ cup water
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp salt
1 cup ap flour
2 tbsp cooking oil
½ cup ap flour
1 ¼ cups sugar
½ cup water
Instructions:
1. Dissolve sugar and salt in water
2. Mix in ap flour and cooking oil
3. Form a dough and let it rest for 10 minutes
4. Roll out the dough and cut into small thin sticks
5. Twist the murali sticks and deep fry
6. Fry for 8-10 minutes on low-medium heat
7. Prepare sugar coating by melting sugar in water for 8 minutes until foamy
8. Coat the murali sticks in sugar
9. Remove from heat and serve once the sugar harden
9. Ready to enjoy!
