Masoori Daal 1 cup Water 4 cups Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp Salt as needed 1 Tomato cubed Green chilli 4 pcs 1 Onion sliced Coriander 1//4 cup Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp Dry red chilli 2 pcs Garlic sliced 4 pcs
In a large soup pot, add masoori daal, water, turmeric powder and salt as needed. Bring to a boil at medium-high heat. Stir occasionally. After it comes to boil, turn off heat and blend the lentils. Add tomato and green chilli. Remove it from heat. In a small frying pan, fry cumin seeds over medium high heat with onions, garlic and dry red chilli. Once they turn golden brown, add daal and reduce heat. Mix it well and garnish with coriander. Serve hot!
