2 Easy Bread Recipes

Homemade bread is always a family favorite and can be done easily with this bread recipe



Ingredients:

Bread Loaf

2 cups ap flour

1 tsp active dry yeast

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp salt

1 cup lukewarm water


Small Bun

2 tbsp ap flour

2 tbsp water

4 tbsp milk

½ cup warm milk

1 tbsp active dry yeast

2 ½ cups ap flour

¼ cup sugar

¾ tsp salt

1 egg

1 tbsp milk

3 tbsp unsalted butter



Instructions for bread loaf:

1. Prepare dough by mixing ap flour with active dry yeast, sugar, salt and lukewarm water

2. Rest dough for 2 hours

3. Coat the quart pyrex bowl with butter before transferring the dough to it

4. Let the dough rise for 25-30 minutes

5. Bake for 15 minutes at 425 °F then bake for another 20 minutes at 375 °F

6. Turn bread out of the bowl onto a cooling rack and cool for 20 min. If you leave the bread in the bowl for much longer than that, you’ll steam it, which may cause some parts of your loaf to go soggy.

7. Ready to Enjoy!


Instructions for small bun:

1. Gently cook ap flour with water and milk then set aside

2. Activate dry yeast in milk for 5 minutes and set aside

3. Using a large clear bowl, mix ap flour with sugar, salt and an egg

4. Pour the active dry yeast and cooked dough to the large bowl

5. Pour milk and knead for 10 minutes

6. Add unsalted butter and knead for another 5 minutes

7. Coat dough with oil and let it rise for 1 hour

8. Divide into 12 equal pieces

9. Place in baking sheet and let it rest for 30 minutes

10. Brush the top with butter and bake for 20-25 minutes at 375 °F

11. Ready to Enjoy!
