Shakshuka Cooked Eggs In Tomato Gravy

Ingredients:

2 tbsp cooking oil
 
1 large onion
 
1/2 tsp salt
 
1 bell pepper
 
2-3 green chilies
 
3 large garlic cloves
 
1 tsp cumin
 
1/2 tsp red chili
 
1 cup canned tomato
 
2 tbsp water
 
4 eggs
 
3-4 tbsp feta cheese
 
2 tbsp fresh coriander

Instructions:

1. Saute sliced onion in cooking oil

2. Salt to taste

3. Add bell pepper

4. Saute for 7-8 minutes until soft

5. Add green chilies, minced garlic, cumin, red chili, and canned tomato

6. Cook for 8-10 minutes on low to medium heat

7. Splash of water and salt to taste

8. Place eggs on top and sprinkle feta cheese

9. Simmer for 4-5 minutes on low heat until egg whites are cooked

10. Garnish with fresh coriander

11. Ready to enjoy!
